Session

In this experiential session you will experience awareness of one’s communication habits that create disconnection and experience the power of empathy and self-empathy to develop engaging connections that fulfill your needs, the needs of other and the needs of the organisation. Organisations with effective communication are 3.5 times more likely to outperform their peers, according to the most recent Towers Watson Change and Communication ROI report 2013/2014. Non-violent Communication (NVC) provides a holistic and integrated approach to communication that can be applied at the individual, team and organisational level by coaches. The framework shows how to link cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence along with universal human needs in a way that enhances connection and communication. NVC emphasises the importance of making connection and central to connection is empathy, both for the other in communication and for one’s self.
